Let me introduce a creation like no other.

After five years, this Cava is born: a Mediterranean sparkling wine from the 2020 vintage, made from Monastrell using the Traditional Method. It has rested on its lees for more than 40 months, with natural underground fermentation that shapes an enveloping bubble. The result is fewer than 3,000 bottles expressing maturity without losing freshness.

For the first time in history, the dosage has been made from Fondillón, a blend of three historic vintages: 1964, 1971 and 1973.

During the Renaissance, Fondillón became the nobility’s favourite wine and was known as the Wine of Kings. Fondillón is unique in the world for its oxidative ageing process and its connection with the memory of time. This combination adds depth, complexity and personality, reinforcing the Mediterranean character of the Monastrell base wine.

Introducing the first sparkling wine in the world that can be called by its name without that name being written. Its presentation includes a sculptural jewel in the shape of a nose, created by artist Nicolás de Maya and cast in an alloy of zinc, aluminium, magnesium and copper. A symbol of intuition, of the sense of smell as a guide, and of how much we can express without words.
